We have lots of exciting things happening in the lead up to the 2016 Fishing classic and we are pleased to announce that we have some new events coming to the 2016 Fishing Classic.

Kayak Section - 5kms of River that is all for the Kayakers. Includes an exclusive Kayak Section Competition: Mystery Length Cod. $800 worth of 'Custom Craft" lures up for grabs!!.


$5,000 Catch - Be the lucky person to catch 'Colin" the tagged fish and win yourself $5,000!!!!.

Champion Angler section.

The fish just get bigger and bigger with Doris Mills surpassing the last few years winners with 950cm cod.

Brad Smith was 2014 champion Angler with a 870mm Cod caught on a lure winning the trophy (Harry the Cod) from 2013 champion angler John Farren-Price with his 775mm cod and 2012 winner Lyndsay Jefferies with a 75cm cod on a yabby.
